Story sequence
Feldway's formal angel army has fractured, but controlled or emotionally destabilized top-tier beings keep the world near collapse. Milim's Stampede continues to demand containment, while Velzard's motives and angelic skill place even Guy under pressure.
Guy cannot solve the Velzard front by indiscriminate force because their history, equal-class power, and the control problem are intertwined. Other Demon Lords and Tempest patrons maintain barriers and evacuations rather than chasing a clean duel result.
Ivarage, the World-Destroyer Dragon, awakens with cryptid forces and begins evolving beyond the mindless destruction previously associated with it. The threat does not belong neatly to Feldway's command, making it dangerous to both armies.
Across every front, Tempest's leaders continue under the assumption that Rimuru will return. Their goal is to prevent irreversible loss long enough for that possibility to matter.
Motivations
- Feldway wants overlapping crises that force opponents to sacrifice one another.
- Guy wants Velzard freed, not merely defeated.
- Ivarage acts from accumulated destructive impulse that is beginning to develop self-directed purpose.
Outcome
The coalition contains but does not fully solve the major fronts; Ivarage's movement becomes the next global emergency.
