Ciel Builds a Road Back From the End

Story sequence

Feldway's banishment places Rimuru at a point after an incomprehensibly long passage of time, where ordinary stars, societies, and usable landmarks have disappeared. Returning is not a matter of flying faster because the original spacetime coordinate is no longer locally reachable.

Ciel preserves Rimuru's consciousness and uses Imaginary Space as an isolated store. The energy of Imaginary Collapse continues accumulating while Ciel reconstructs causal and positional information from soul corridors, memories, Michael's data, and the structure of the world.

Ciel determines that Rimuru now holds enough energy and information to rebuild a world-scale environment, but Rimuru's first priority is the existing timeline and the people waiting there. Spacetime Domination is refined from movement within dimensions into selection of a target era and world line.

The pair begin the return not by reversing every elapsed moment but by identifying the information signature of the desired present and crossing to it. This avoids treating time travel as a simple clock running backward.

• Ciel wants the most reliable route that preserves Rimuru's full existence through the transition.

Outcome

Rimuru gains a viable route from the end of space-time toward the war-era Cardinal World.
