Story sequence
After the war, leaders from goblins, lizardmen, dryads, ogres, wolves, and orcs meet to decide what replaces the unstable forest order. Rimuru does not claim every territory as personal property; he proposes mutual nonaggression, trade, and responsibility for maintaining peace.
Treyni names Rimuru Chancellor of the Jura Forest Alliance because he defeated the Orc Disaster and can mediate among species. The title makes explicit what his actions already established: groups increasingly treat Tempest as the forest's coordinating center.
The orcs are divided into work groups and assigned food, shelter, and reconstruction tasks rather than punishment camps. Geld's son receives his father's name and directs massive civil projects, converting the same collective discipline used in war into roads, buildings, and agriculture.
Rimuru also benefits through Food Chain, which shares aspects of subordinate growth through the soul corridor. His strength and the population's evolution become mutually reinforcing, though Great Sage handles much of the process invisibly.
