Tempest ArchiveTHE LIVING RECORD

Story sequence

Rimuru shares what Ciel learned from the imperial battle: Michael is no longer merely Rudra's Ultimate Skill, and domination can exploit angelic-system powers. The Octagram must examine its own members and followers because possession of a powerful skill can be an attack surface.

Feldway, first of the primordial angels created by Veldanava, leads phantoms and angelic forces from the Heavenly Star Palace. Feldway's grief and purpose have hardened into a plan to gather the virtue-series Ultimate Skills and force Veldanava's return, regardless of what the present world wants.

The coalition divides the world into fronts around Guy, Luminous, Leon, Dagruel, Milim, and Tempest. Rimuru distributes Ciel-designed Ultimate Gifts and communication support while preserving Azathoth as a reserve against Michael himself.

Dino's long association with the Demon Lords does not guarantee freedom: his angelic origin and skills allow Feldway's system to pressure him. The council therefore begins under the knowledge that trust must be supported by protection against control.

Motivations

  • Feldway wants Veldanava restored and treats the existing world as a failed project without its creator.
  • Rimuru and Guy want to preserve the living world rather than sacrifice it to an absent ideal.

Outcome

Octagram and Tempest create a global defense plan, while Feldway activates infiltrators and simultaneous fronts.

Consequences

  • The war is fought through soul control, transport gates, and targeted champions rather than one marching army.
  • Ciel's ability to alter skills becomes a defensive technology for the entire alliance.
Why this matters later

Every major political thread converges into a war over whether the world belongs to its living people or to a plan imposed in Veldanava's name.
