Story sequence
Dino has lived inside Tempest's labyrinth as a lazy guest, but Feldway's command and his angelic-system abilities force him into action. Pico and Garasha accompany the operation, creating uncertainty over which choices are voluntary.
The target is Ramiris, whose labyrinth is both Tempest's fortress and a unique resurrection domain. Removing her would collapse a central defensive advantage and expose civilians and research hidden across the floors.
Beretta, Apito, and labyrinth defenders resist while Zegion's presence makes a quick victory impossible. Dino's hesitation and relationships inside Tempest interfere with the clean obedience Feldway expects.
The attack does not produce the decisive capture intended. Instead, it alerts Tempest to the depth of the enemy's access and begins separating Dino's personal will from the control layered over it.
Motivations
- Feldway wants Ramiris removed before the main labyrinth invasion.
- Dino is divided between orders connected to his origin and genuine attachment to people he was supposed to treat as targets.
Outcome
Ramiris survives, the labyrinth remains operational, and Dino's status shifts from simple traitor to controlled participant who may be recoverable.
Consequences
- The labyrinth prepares for a much larger attack led by Zelanus and Vega.
- Dino, Pico, and Garasha later gain routes out of Feldway's command.
The war repeatedly asks whether a controlled action defines the person who performed it; Tempest's answer is usually to free the person before judging them.
