Rimuru Restores the Enemy Army

Story sequence

Because the labyrinth preserves bodies and souls under controlled conditions, Rimuru can attempt restoration on a scale even greater than the Falmuth resurrection. Raphael manages the sorting, energy, and identity problems while excluding irrecoverable threats.

The revived soldiers awaken as defeated prisoners rather than a reconstituted army. Their commanders are forced to explain that Tempest both destroyed the invasion and chose to return its personnel, a combination that undermines every claim that monsters fight only from cruelty.

Calgurio moves from disbelief toward cooperation. Rimuru does not erase responsibility for the invasion, but he separates ordinary soldiers from the leadership and control systems that sent them.

The enormous operation also feeds subordinate evolution and skill growth through Food Chain. Tempest's victory therefore increases its manpower, intelligence, and diplomatic options instead of leaving only destruction.

Motivations

• Rimuru wants future peace and sees living witnesses as more useful than a vanished army.
• Raphael wants to execute Rimuru's mercy without compromising security.

Outcome

Large portions of the imperial force are restored, disarmed, and converted into prisoners or future partners.

Consequences

• Imperial soldiers become evidence that surrender to Tempest is survivable.
• The empire's ruling intelligence can no longer hide the scale or nature of the defeat.
